So excited to read @tiffanyhaddish The Last Black Unicorn because I am obsessed with her! 😍 My forever valentines! I love these humans more than anything! ❤️ Happy Valentine’s Day! If you don’t have anyone special in your life at the moment, don’t forget to look in the mirror! You deserve all the love you would give away. Treat yourself extra well today.
Photo by @angieandmarko Whipping up some healing things for others. I am so excited about my apothecary hutch and all the amazing things inside of it that I can create to help others heal. 🌿🥀 Toxic positivity is a thing. We are raised to suck it up and smile. Well, fuck that. I want my friends and family to be real. I want to know about your shitty day. We all have them. I want genuine. Raw. I don’t want you to fake anything for me or anyone else. Let people feel safe! Break the stigma of bottling shit up and autopilot responses like “I’m fine, and you?” Mental health is an epidemic because we all participate in hiding, making everyone feel alone. It’s time to change. I am so excited about my CBD skincare line and all my new products coming out this year. I am putting it out in the universe that someone will invest in me or hire me to consult their product line. I am also becoming a master herbalist and continuing to grow my inspiration, knowledge and mastery. Follow @wildlingapothecaryus to stay in touch will new products. Anything can be customized for you. People judge a book by its cover. On the surface you see young and healthy, smiles, and clips of our best moments. But what you don’t see is what is hidden within: pain, suffering, depression, anxiety or ptsd for health experiences, and everything else that an invisible illness encompasses.
We aren’t going to post our tears, we cover up the tired with makeup, we smile through the pain and we get by each day. I often hear about others in my community that get shamed and harassed for parking in the handicapped spots because they look young. People leave them nasty notes or say hateful remarks. I can’t even tell you how many times in my life I have heard from a creepy old man “smile! It can’t be that bad.” You do not know what people have hiding under the surface, so next time you see a #restingbitchface or perfectly healthy person parked in the handicap spot, don’t judge. Instead, smile and be kind.
