As the historic old packing plant, Harvey’s Packing House, off US1 in Rockledge, Florida, is torn down, I decided to dig through my archive of photos. Established in the mid-1900s, Harvey’s was a significant part of the local citrus industry, processing and distributing oranges and other citrus fruits grown in the region. I took the following photos in 2007, capturing a piece of history before it was lost to time.

And from my artsy fartsy days of playing with my film camera, Pentax K1000, I did this photo shoot on the property. I was very inspired by Chuck Palahniuk at the time.

Thanks for sharing your amazing pictures of one of Brevard’s historical landmark. Change is enviable in life, but with your photos the memories of times past live on for others to see. Thank you.
