May is apparently the month for everything awareness, so today I want to share a bit about Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome. In the medical field, doctors are often taught that when they hear hooves, it’s always a horse, never a zebra. But the zebras are standing up and demanding answers. We’ve been dismissed for far too long. It’s incredibly important to me to educate those in the medical field so they can keep an open mind and approach patients with empathy, especially those who suffer without clear answers. 🦓
